This week Amazon hosted a virtual online summit for the Public Sector. They had a full agenda beginning with the Keynote, followed by 25 breakout sessions across five tracks, including topics from building advanced architectures, app development, and DevOps workshops. The goal was to provide a forum for networking, collaboration and learning to design, deploy, and use the AWS cloud product.
I attended two sessions, Machine Learning for Fraud Protection and DeepRacer. Both sessions were live, informative and provided handouts for reviewing later. I enjoyed learning about DeepRacer, the car race simulator. This is a great tool to teach innovation via Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and cloud architecture. I wish I could have attended a few other breakout sessions. Looking forward to more education events from Amazon Web Services.
